At Plattekill Mountain we offer beautiful, private, mountaintop wedding ceremonies with chairlift rides for all your guests to the summit peak where you’ll find panoramic alpine views, spectacular in any season as your backdrop for your vows.  Then after the ceremony, continue your celebration in our rustic-chic base lodge, complete with large wrap-around deck for cocktail hour, campfires, party lights and Catskill Mountain views as far as the eye can see.  Cocktails are followed by dinner and dancing in our post and beam dining room and bar area with fireplaces, woodstoves and large windows framing the stunning scenery.  Our all-inclusive packages include full on-site catering with buffet or sit down service as well as a variety of bar service options and everything in between, so it’s an easy one stop shop.  Plus our wedding packages include exclusive use of the resort and base lodge the entire week leading up or your wedding.  In other words…YOUR wedding will be the only wedding on the whole mountain the entire weekend!

We host weddings from smaller intimate sizes of less than 50 guests to larger weddings of up to 150 and every couple has their very own exclusive venue.

Our professional staff will guide you every step of the process from booking day to wedding day with exceptional service from start to finish to make your wedding day perfect.  Then, when your wedding day is over you’ll leave with complimentary season passes to come back again and ski and ride with us, on us so you can relive the FUN!

Ceremony

Picture your wedding ceremony on the top of a mountain peak, as undoubtedly romantic as you can get with chairlift service for all your guests to the mountaintop where you’ll find a ceremony site complete with wedding deck, arbor, seating for all your guests and magnificent mountain views as far as the eye can see.

Reception & Catering

After the ceremony, a beautiful, intimate reception follows in our base lodge, complete with cozy fireplaces, party lighting and authentic, rustic charm. The mountain’s base lodge wrap around deck offers the perfect setting for cocktail hour complete with outdoor firepits, party lighting and sunsets over the mountains.

In addition, we offer packages that include complete on-premise catering from buffet to full set-down dinners with delectable menu options and a variety of beverage services to make it all one stop shop.
