KIDS Private LESSONS
Kids at introductory levels thrive with private instruction. They gain SO MUCH MORE and their jump in progress in a short amount of time is well worth every dollar spent.
The result: not just happier kids, but lifelong skiers and snowboarders.
So for that very reason, we offer 1-hour and 2-hour private lessons as well as the option to add on an additional person if you have two children close in age in abiltiy level. The Group Lessons and Programs we offer are for children beyond the “introductory level”.
Lessons are available hourly 9am – 3pm
24-25 Pricing
1 hr lesson $135 add participant $95
2 hr lesson $240 add participant $190
Book of 5 1 hr privates $600 available online only
(If a 2-hour Private option is not available for online reservation, please check with the Snowsports Desk on arrival as often lessons can be extended onsite)
GROUP LESSONS
MOUNTAIN MEISTERS (ages 7-12)
This group lesson class we offer is for children who can ski and snowboard confidently on upper-mountain beginner terrain and ride the chairlift independently.
The program works to fine-tune skills and improve kids’ skiing and riding to the next level.
– Class is offered 10am-1pm and 1pm-3pm, Weekends & Holidays
– Class is limited to 6 students

Kids Programs
junior development PROGRAM (ages 7-14)
Are you looking for multiple lessons that will take your child’s skiing to the next level? Our Jr Development program will do JUST THAT. For over 10 years this popular program has turned young skiers into GREAT skiers in just a few short weeks through repetition & skill building drills focasing on balance, agility, edging and rotation skills all while having fun.
The program runs on SATURDAYS starting December 27, 2025 and offers flexability with 4-day and 8-day options. These multi-day classes offer the continuity needed to build confidence and get your child skiing better! Consistency and continuity will ensure your child’s ability will advance to the next level.
Program is offered to children skiing blue trails comfortably and can load the chairlift indpendently without an adult.
Classes are all-day from 10am-12pm and 1-3pm with an hour break for lunch.
** The 1-DAY TRAIL option is available and credit can be applied to the 4 or 8 day program.

PLEASE NOTE:
Tickets and rentals are not included with lessons. Plattekill offers the option to add rentals at 10% OFF off full price rental packages with any online lesson booking.
All advance reservations must be made online, BEFORE 3pm the day prior to your requested date to guarantee your lesson.
Walk-up (day of lessons) may be available for purchase onsite at the Snowsports Desk, depending on advance reservations. For lesson availability, call (607) 326-3500.
* BOOK OF 5 PRIVATES can be used for any (5) 1-hour private lessons during the season they were purchased in. You must make your lesson bookings online using the supplied links/code upon purchase and you may not redeem or book usages at the mountain. Please note that we will not guarantee lesson availability when you are purchasing this product.
Rescheduling Lessons:
There are NO REFUNDS once you submit your lesson reservation.
Should you need to reschedule your lesson reservation, you must complete all rescheduling BY 5PM THE DAY PRIOR TO YOUR ORIGINAL BOOKED DATE. There is NO RESCHEDULING LESSONS AFTER THIS TIME – your lesson will be considered expired. Rebooking can only be done to dates in the current season and there is a $20/per ticket change fee for rescheduling of tickets.
